Terms of service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Fantasy Fight League. By creating an account you confirm that you are. We may close any account we reasonably believe belongs to someone under 18.

2. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password secure. One person, one account — do not create additional accounts to gain an advantage in a league or on the leaderboard, and do not share, sell or transfer your account.

Choose a username that is not offensive, not impersonating someone else, and not infringing anyone's rights. We may change or reclaim a username that breaches this.

3. The game is not gambling

Fantasy Fight League is a free-to-enter game of skill. There is no stake, no wager and no cash prize. Where odds are displayed they are historic market prices used solely to weight scoring, and nothing on this service is an offer, inducement or invitation to bet. We are not a bookmaker and we do not accept wagers.

Where a league or promotion offers a prize, the prize, its provider and its conditions are stated on that league's page. Entry to such leagues is free or paid for in $KO, never in money.

4. $KO and points

• Points are your prediction score. They determine leaderboard position and rank. They have no monetary value.
• $KO is an in-game reward currency used to unlock cosmetic titles and avatar frames, and to enter some leagues. It is not money, not a payment instrument and not cryptocurrency.
• $KO and points are a revocable licence to use a feature of the game, not property. They cannot be exchanged for money or goods, and we may adjust balances to correct an error, a bug or abuse.
• If your account is closed, any $KO, points, ranks and cosmetics are forfeited.

5. Predictions and scoring

Predictions open one week before a card and lock two hours before the first bell, or thirty minutes before for FFL Pro members. If you do not pick a bout you are scored against the bookmakers' favourite, as described on the scoring page.

Scoring is applied automatically from official results. We rely on third-party data for fight cards, odds and results, and we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or timely. Where a result is corrected, disputed or overturned by the relevant commission, we may rescore affected bouts. We may also correct scores affected by a data error or a bug. Our decision on scoring is final.

Cards may be changed, postponed or cancelled by promoters at any time. Where a bout does not take place, it simply scores nothing.

6. Leagues, chat and conduct

When using leagues and chat you agree not to:

• post anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening or obscene;
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• post spam, advertising, or links to gambling or affiliate offers;
• attempt to manipulate a leaderboard or league table through multiple accounts, collusion or automation;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or the systems it runs on.

You can block another player and report a message from within the app. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that breach these rules. We do not pre-moderate chat and are not responsible for what other players post.

You keep ownership of what you post, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display it within the service for as long as you keep it there.

7. Private leagues

If you create a private league you are responsible for who you invite and for anything your league agrees among itself. Any arrangement between you and other members — including anything of value staked outside the game — is entirely between you. We are not a party to it, take no part in it, and accept no responsibility for it.

8. FFL Pro

FFL Pro is a paid subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Payment, renewal, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms, and we do not process or store your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you manage and cancel them in your Apple account settings.

FFL Pro grants a later prediction cutoff and other benefits described at the point of sale. We may change what Pro includes, and where a change is material we will tell you beforehand.

9. Availability and changes

We provide the service “as is” and do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including the game rules and scoring, and may do so without notice where it is needed for security, legal or operational reasons.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Fantasy Fight League at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@fflboxing.com. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Subject to that, and because the service is provided free of charge, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of $KO, points, rank or standing, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any twelve month period will not exceed the greater of £50 or the amount you paid us in that period.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — though if you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
